Hi Tracy. Probably won't try this one as Simon decided that a certain indoor writer had a better story than mine in the Steyning festival last year(my home town)!! Seriously though, I must get round to reading your winning entry.
ReplyDeleteOh sorry about that - did you go to the Wiston House ceremony? It was a rather lovely event. Well don't be put off entering - some of the competition is knocked out already (West Sussex Writers Committee members can't enter - so sadly I can't have a go). And it would be lovely if a West Sussexer won the first competition. Go on - it could be you Wendy :)
DeleteSounds a good comp - thanks, Tracy.
ReplyDeleteHope you enter a story Rosemary! Good luck if you do
ReplyDeleteI bet it will be interesting to read all the entries. (Way more interesting than attempting to read your horrible word verification thing so I could post a reply)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it as I'm usually on the other end of the competition process.
DeleteAnd really sorry as I never realised I had that word verification thingie activated! I HATE those as I'm always a robot. Have now disabled it (hopefully) - thanks for mentioning it :)
If you're on the initial reading committee, Tracy - do you take bribes?!
ReplyDeleteOooh Sally naughty - I couldn't possibly comment.
DeleteAnd WELL DONE on being shortlisted for Writers' News competition - read your name over breakfast in latest issue! What don't you have a go at this competition - think of the kudos of winning a BRAND NEW National comp...
