The Indoor Writer is just completing a 5-week Introduction to Radio Drama with Sue Teddern of Skribita. It's been a great course and she's made good progress with her own radio play. Sue is generous with her knowledge (vast!) and is an incredibly funny
writer, which has spurred our girl to sign up this ...

You don't have to live near Brighton as hotel accommodation can be included. I believe it's rather nice too, more details here.
So tempting, Tracy! I remember The Artists Residence when it was on The Hotel Inspector. At the time it was run by a very young student and the place had rather lost its way until Alex Polizzi got a hold of it. I then watched the episode where she returned 3 years later and it is a great success (very quirky). I think the Writing Sitcom for TV course sounds really good. Can't wait to hear all about the course you've just finished.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about the hotel, Wendy. Apparently they do fab breakfasts, but sadly I won't be staying over to report back.
DeleteEnjoy the course. Sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patsy. I've since learned that we will be writing a sitcom over the w/e so can't wait!
DeleteWell done on signing up, Tracy - good luck with the course!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rosemary. I'm really looking forward to it.
DeleteI don't know how you're fitting all this in with the MA as well!
ReplyDeleteHmm, have you been talking to my hubby, Sally? I'm hoping the sitcom w/e will be a bit of light relief after all the intense reading.
